According to Trading Economics, South African unemployment rate has increased from 25.2% in the first quarter of 2014 to 25.5% in the second quarter of 2014; known as the worst rate of jobless people seen since the first labour force survey in 2008. We find more and more unemployed graduates from different areas of the country.

WE BLAME THE GOVERNMENT BUT WHAT ARE WE DOING ABOUT IT???

More and more young people are starting their own business because “finding a job is a job on its own” said Reamogetse Motsepe, Independent Field Advertiser and small time business owner.

How can one make small businesses work in South Africa?

Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises contribute about 40% of South Africa’s GDP, and employ more than half of the private sector work-force. About 80% of new jobs in the world economies are being created through SMMEs, making small businesses a key player in this day and age’s economy.
